City of the Future is an urban design podcast from Sidewalk Labs that I had really enjoyed listening to as I was trying to adapt to urban life in NYC. I decided to create a motion trailer to go along with their season one audio podcast trailer (w/ permission of course).

To create a cohesive language, I used a color scheme that reflected their brand. For type I used Futura which is considered to be the typeface of the future. A bouncing ball was the main motif and the themes of building and construction fit with the narration, sound design, and topic of the show. I really enjoyed this project and after contacting the hosts of the podcast they asked to showcase the trailer on their social media as well.
