This is an animated trailer for one of my favorite books: Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. Using the visual language of the original book cover, I expanded it into multiple designed scenes from the book. The typography drives each scene and aids transitions while the motion, style, and texture adds to the grittiness of the book and setting. The music was the final addition to match the fast paced motion and jazzy setting of NYC.
